My passion for fitness began after I discovered I have a deep love for surfing. Month long flat spells here in Jacksonville are enough to make anyone go crazy so I started to do workouts to keep my body ready to go inbetween swells. In a very short time I found myself living on the island of Oahu in the Hawaiian Islands. Hawaii kept me outdoors for a lot of my time and I would find ways to get a workout in anywhere: on the beach, hanging from a tree, running across the Koolau mountains, even on the airplane I was flying on.

All good things do come to an end and I soon found myself living outside of Philadelphia in the garden state of New Jersey. Since I was unaccustomed to using a gym for most of my workouts I found the delight and convenience of using a kettlebell and pushing around my car in the parking lot of my apartment building. Like most men, I have a policy of only asking for directions while no one is looking, and in my search for trying to figure out things I could do with my kettlebells, I found CrossFit.

CrossFit made sense to me because I believed in most of it's principles and used them in my workouts on my own; I always changed what I was doing on a regular basis, I took very short rests, and I always tried to do the hardest variation of the movement; it was a perfect fit. I moved to Maryland and joined CrossFit BWI. About a year after joining with them I decided to make my passion a carrer and started teaching.

That was 2009 and soon I made my way back to Jacksonville and decided to make it my home. I believe CrossFit is the most comprehensive fitness system I have found and you will not find better anywhere else. It has changed my life for the better and I’ve personally witnessed it change the life of scores of people around me. I opened my gym because I believe in CrossFit and the power it can have to change your physical being for the better. I try extremely hard to make sure each of my CrossFitter's goals are met and to answer any and all questions they may have.

I teach all of our Group Classes and I am your coach through your Beginner's Series Classes. I will make sure you understand the majority of the movements we do and that you have been "indoctrinated" to our nutritional methods to ensure your success in the gym.
